Located on a farm in Scott River, just out of Augusta in the South-West this tiny home was custom built and designed to the desires of the client.
Tinee Homes are always able to modify existing models we offer to meet the needs and wants of the client, the aim of our tiny homes on wheels and modular homes are to be as customisable as possible. The client wanted a luxury tiny home utilising high-end, high-quality materials and finishes to allow for escapism into the WA natural bushland, whilst providing a high-end vacation stay. Design was of utmost importance to produce a tiny home with a striking physical presence against the natural background. Major design considerations were the use of a raked/vaulted internal ceiling internally and incorporating many large windows to maximise the feeling of internal space by allowing as much natural light into the tiny home as possible and giving the feel of more space by increasing internal height.
This build really leveraged the company’s experience in creating high end residential homes, but on a much smaller scale. It is Tinee Homes’ aim to bring a more quality feel to tiny homes and small living that we believe has been lacking previously.
Physical features:
- 6.5m long x 2.5m wide x 4.2m high at its highest point
- Custom designed single skillion roof
- Mounted to a custom tri-axle trailer
- Architectural standing seam cladding on the outside
- The bedroom fully lined with castellated western red cedar timber lining on all walls and vaulted ceiling
- The bathroom area lined completely with Laminam porcelain panels (large panels of porcelain stone used on floors and walls to minimise grout lines to produce a really refined, polished finish)
- Incorporated Italian Fenix laminate for all cabinetry in the kitchen and bathroom vanity
- High-end fixtures and fittings used throughout
- Full off-grid solar system (3.6kW system) with automatic generator back up
- Full off-grid water (water tank and water pump attached) and waste systems (grey-water waste filtered out through custom filtration system)
- Composting toilet
